Access Flooring

SFU – Surrey Campus at Central City

95,000 s.f. using FS 200 with seven factory installed floor finishes. The Central City Building was originally designed for access floor. The access floor is used for under floor air and cable management.

Surrey City Hall – Addition

18000 s.f. using TecCrete and TecFlor. This project used the access floor for under floor air and cable management.

Langley City Hall – New space

40,000 s.f. using ASM bare corner lock panels with site applied carpet tile. The access floor is used for cable management in an office application. With the use of ramps from the core the access floor is an addition to the building.

Sitel Call Centre – Kelowna

30,000 s.f. using TecCrete and TecFlor. A warehouse in Kelowna was fitted out with a state of the art call centre. This project uses under floor air and cable management.

UBC – Faculty of Dentistry

5,000 s.f, using FS 500 (Heavy Duty Panel) with a customer’s own supplied factory installed floor finish. This project used raised access flooring to accommodate 800 dentist chairs. This unique project used depressed slabs down the corridors to facilitate the services for the stations.

TK Shipping

60,000 s.f. of general office raised access floor. Teekay Shipping leased the top 4 floors of the Bental 5 office tower and with the use of ramps to the core, Access Construction Products installed 3-inch adjustable access floor for cable management. TecCrete permitted the use of granite and ceramic tile among the various floor finishes selected

Nokia

75,000 s.f. of general office raised access floor and specialty labs for Nokia in Burnaby. This research facility accommodates state of the art technology. The surface finishes Nokia selected include bare exposed TecCrete panels, antistatic rubber, plastic laminate and carpet tile.

CFB Esquimalt

12,000 s.f. of ASM raised access floor for the computer rooms, testing rooms, and labs at the Ministry of Defense in Esquimalt. This state of the art high tech facility uses depressed slabs with access floor to accommodate the large raceways of cable through the facility. (Project currently in progress)

Acoustic Wall Panels

RCMP Richmond discovered after their recent renovation that sound transmission and reverberation made it difficult to isolate and record conversations within their interrogation rooms. Access Construction Products installed a 1-inch thick Snap-Tex fabric track and with the use of high-density insulation behind the fabric to form acoustical wall panels, Access Construction Products successfully resolved their issues.

Solar Shades

Prospera Credit Union

Using 3 different colors of shades in a pattern this decision was risky but paid off as the colors add life to the inside of the building and make the different heights of the shades from the outside look good.

Boston Pizza Head Office Richmond

65 shades later this one day installation using two guys made the client very happy.

UBC Brock Hall, The blinds are 20 feet above the floor; at that height the angle allowed the suns rays to pass through the conventional blinds. To resolve this, Access Construction Products used Insolroll Sheerweave 2000 solar shades with 5% openness. This allows the client to see through the shades when closed and yet it stops the sunrays from filtering through.
